![]() It’s a delicate balance between painting a picture for your reader, and not being an Elizabeth Gaskell. What’s the point of your high word count if the story didn’t move forward? It’s the same with copywriting. You don’t want someone to take the time to read your web page and wonder.so what’s going on here? While churning out lots of words and listening to the feedback you get back is great for your writing in general, I feel it ends up being especially important for copywriters. So if you’re working as one and wrote fanfiction, once upon a time, you might find you were inadvertently preparing yourself for your future career! And The Point Was.? ![]() Millions of people read it, but fanfiction can still have a bad rap. Say the word and poorly written action scenes or smut come to mind. And while there is plenty of that out on the web, there are also plenty of well-written stories that give the authors good writing experience. After all, put your story out there long enough and someone will have something to say to you about it. And they’re not always nice! If you have the right attitude, it can end up being great practice for your future writing projects. Including copywriting!
